Enclave Gives You a Head Start

At first, getting about Brockport can be puzzling especially if you don't have a car. However, that's one of the main benefits of living at Enclave. Transportation becomes easy and accessible with practical choices like the campus shuttle, RTS On Demand, and even local school buses.

Take the Campus Shuttle

The Enclave shuttle is your personal VIP ride around town and the best part? It’s completely free for SUNY Brockport students since it’s already covered by your tuition. So why not take advantage of it? The shuttle doesn't just take you to campus, it also runs retail trips to Walmart, local plazas, and, on occasion, special outings to Rochester hot spots like College Town and Eastview Mall.

Ride the RTS Bus

Need to go a bit farther? The Regional Transit Service (RTS) runs buses throughout Brockport and into Rochester. It’s only $1 per ride.

Here’s a pro tip: The bus does fill up fast, so the best way to secure a spot for the day is to stay up until midnight and book your ride as soon as the new day begins.

Rent a Bike

If staying up late to schedule a bus ride isn’t an option, consider renting a SUNY Brockport bike for a quicker and more convenient commute. Bikes are available at the Membership Services desk in the Special Events and Recreation Center (SERC).

No Worries!

At the end of the day, having no car doesn’t mean missing out. With the right resources and a little planning, you can navigate Brockport confidently and thankfully living at Enclave gives you a strong head start.
